Lost within these feeds
The mission of liking
And being liked
Writing constricted
To the reader’s perception
It was so from the
Writing’s inception.
You are not the first to
Write and will not be the last.
No- no one will ever know!
After a thousand years these
Words will never show.
Humanity may not last
That long or this Earth,
No- no we aren’t sure.
At least I might never know.

What do you mean by “come short”? I find that poetry is an art form that is unique from one person to the next. Your style is unique to you and I find your way of expressing your ideas to be intriguing and insightful. I doubt that you would come short of your own evolution. However, that said, if I come up with suggestions on insights, I’ll let you know. 😊
I meant exactly that, let me know if and when you have suggestions. It’s just I always want to know how a reader really felt was missing.or needed something more. Perhaps honest opinions really doesn’t belong here. Because others might feel like one’s trying to harm their reputation, or so I feel! 🙂
Yeah and so I do, there are pieces of mine which haven’r gotten many likes but it’s only cause people haven’t really given them a chance, to read them or even look at them for a while.
They just didn’t thought of looking at it, still I keep on posting my work.
