Burning me up,
wishing for me
to vanish into
thin air.
No, that will
not happen.
I’ll write
till my hand
starts to bleed
and then those
bloodied words
fall under your gaze.
You’ll read and know
my love for writing.
You’ll read and know
I take it seriously.
For I was, I am and
will always be
a writer.

You’re right. You need to believe in your characters, what’s happening, and you need to care. If you don’t, how do you expect any of your readers to do the same? 😊

Exactly! If one can’t be serious about the thing one does, in our case which is writing, others won’t take one’s work seriously as well.

Always! 😊 I try not to miss any, but WordPress doesn’t always show them in my reader.

Yeah that can happen that’s why I visit the feeds of my favorite writers here, including you of course. 🙂

That potential packed poem was bomb, Ali! A self esteem boosting piece of art! Honestly speaking I’ve known you so sometimes and I remember how richer your writings have gotten over the past few weeks! Keep them awesomeness flowing, writer! 👌

Thanks for the compliments.
They mean a lot, I’m serious! 🙂
I don’t know,
no one does,
but when words flow
they are on their own
I just watch them go!
